Emma Byun is a student living in Irvine, California. Her art has been recognized by the Young Arts Foundation, and she has been honored as a semi-finalist for the OC Artist of the Year (2026) and as a finalist for the Congressional Arts Competition in District 47 (2026). Her multi-media, interdisciplinary art is deeply invested in the concept of “skinship,” and interrogates, celebrates, and invites reflection on the diversity and unity of human connection. Emma’s art has been and displayed in galleries and juried exhibitions across California and in Paris, and in 2026, her work was featured on a billboard in Times Square.
